ABOUT US
In our lab, we are pursuing basic and applied researches by understanding structures and properties of nanomaterials created by living things. Particularly in recent years, we have been conducting approaches from a wide range of fields, such as research on the structure and functionalization of new bio-based nanomaterials (e.g. cellulose nanofibers).
- Structural analysis of a single cellulose nanofiber
- Light-permeable and super-insulating nanocellulose porous materials
- Transparent, high-strength, and thermally anisotropic nanocellulose board
- Toughening of nanocellulose/resin composites
- Pickering Emulsions stabilized by bio-based nanofibers
